"It's too late, baby, now it's too late
Though we really did try to make it
Something inside has died and I cant hide
And I just can't fake it..."
My way of saying good bye to you I guess...

Where to ... ?
Here's a little story ...
My sister is in the 6th grade, and recently she started school again. No more than a week passed and the kids in her class discovered a new way to play - throwing thistles at eachother.
Nothing unusual so far...
Yesterday my sister came home with a blood vesle broken in her eye (may not be the exact medical term). Apparently one twit threw some thistles at her, one got in her eye and the other three we managed to untangle from her hair. Naturally my mum got upset and called the form teacher and the twit's mother to ask them to calm down the young and restless kid. She didn't make fuss about it, she only emphasized that this kind of games could get dangerous.
Today when my sister got to school all of her classmates (they are all 12 years old) treated her bad and told her we overreacted.
What bothered me the most was not the fact that their formteacher didn't mention a thing about the incident or the fact that all thought we overreacted, it was the fact that one of the girs told my sister " Why did you tell on X - now all the boys will be upset and won't pay attention to us girls anymore ... "
You gotta be kiddin'me... I mean...she is only 12 and that is her majour concern right now ? What will she do at 18?
The kids these days took this to a whole different level...

Personal DNA Test
It's fun, it only takes you 15 maybe 20 minutes to complete and is cheaper than a shrink. So dare to lay down on their couch...

Spoiled brats
Have you ever noticed there are certain types of people you meet while standing in lines ? The noisy ones that have to speak loud and gesticulate a lot so that everybody hears and sees them, the busy bodies that will tell you their life stories even when you are not interested, the grandmas with photos of their nephews stashed in their wallets, ready for you to admire, the cleark's friend who goes directly in front, smugy look on his face, the quiet ones who sit there and tolerate just about everything and everybody around.
Today I met the worst of them ... the mum that drags a kid into the line and uses him to get in front... It took the spioled brat no more than 3 1/2 minutes to start crying and smash his ass onto the floor and 58 seconds for the people around to react and smooth mum's way tot he counter. And the second they got there, shorty shut his piehole and gave mum a they fall for that again smile.
Frustrating situation ... you absolutely do not want to start pickin' on those poor souls, that will only bring along acid remarks like "she's young, what does she know about it"... so there's not a damn thing you can do about that ... Or maybe ...
Note to self :D Get one of those brats for yourself next time !
